How close are you from the center of Edinburgh, for example the Castle or the Princess Street. Many thanks.

The Castle and Princes Street are 7 minutes away from Black Ivy by taxi, or about 13 minutes by bus. You can walk there in about 30 minutes. The University of Edinburgh is a pleasant 15 minute walk and The Museum of Scotland is a 20 minute walk away.

On-street parking outside the hotel is free of charge on weekends and overnight, and is charged at £2.80 p/h (maximum stay of 4h) between 8.30am-5.30pm on weekdays. Clinton Road offers on-street parking for approximately £6.00 for a full day.

Hi, We have one deluxe double with a wet room style bathroom (accessible), this can not be twinned unfortunately. the rest of our deluxe doubles & suites have cubicle style showers and these can all be twinned. Thanks

Hi, is it a problem if I arrive for the check-in in the evening (e.g. at 22:00)? My plane arrives at 21:25.

Hi, checking in at 10pm is not a problem at all. We have someone here 24 hours who can assist you when you arrive.

Many of the reviews mention noise from the terrace in the park view rooms. Is this likely to be an issue in winter? Is there a suite room at the back?

Hi, The noise from the terrace is unlikely to be an issue during these colder months, however as the terrace is still open we can not guarantee no noise. There are no suites at the back; the rear facing rooms are all standard double/twin. Thanks

«Boutique hotel molto bello immerso nel parco!»
Boutique hotel molto bello immerso nel parco in posizione strategica a poca strada a piedi dal centro. Stile curato e bell'atmosfera nell'area ristornate, bar e terrazza, sempre molto frequentato.
La pulizia del bagno il giorno dopo non era stata effettuata, solo rifatto il letto. L prenotazione diceva che tutte le camere affacciavano nel parco ma la nostra era nel cortile interno con un rumore continuo di generatori d'energia. Per il prezzo a notte sarebbe carino avere la colazione inclusa.
